Concrete Superintendent, Nashville, TN Area

Job Type: Full-time position
Pay: $86,000 annual salary
Expected hours: 50-55 per week


At World Class Concrete, we are seeking a highly skilled Concrete Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising construction sites, ensuring quality control, and managing subcontractors. Concrete Construction, Road Construction and other projects.


**PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY TO READ BLUEPRINTS IS A NECESSITY TO BE CONSIDERED**


Job Summary:

5-7 years concrete construction required (minimum) experience required, must be able to supervise all projects with key duties listed below without supervision.

Duties include:
· Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site
· Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
· Implement and enforce safety regulations, including OSHA standards
· Conduct regular inspections to guarantee work quality
· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects
· Manage subcontractors and vendors effectively
· Monitor employee hours
· Read blueprints – required
· Must know how to convert decimals
· Finishing skills required
· Keep up required on site paperwork
· Run on site safety meetings
· Inspect and maintain equipment on job site
· Order materials as needed for job

Qualifications:
· 5+ years concrete finishing experience required
· Proven experience in supervising construction projects
· Strong knowledge of building processes and techniques
· Excellent leadership and communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
· Ability to read and interpret plans
· Ability to manage employees or crew
· 5 to 8 years heavy equipment experience

Required Skills:


Experience with Quality Control processes in concrete construction
5 to 7 years previous experience in managing construction projects from start to finish

Schedule:
• 10-hour shift (am or pm shifts but may vary)
• Monday to Friday (weekends may apply)
Experience:
• Heavy Construction:  5 years (Required)
• Management Experience 3-5 years or more (Required)
• Concrete Construction:  5 years (Required)
• Blueprint reading: 5 years (Required)
